Where
It All Began...
Hi I'm Erika
I'm the founder of Let's Choose Child Care, and a lifelong advocate for children and families. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University and moved to Florida shortly after for my first teaching job. For nearly 10 years I taught elementary school as both a classroom teacher as well as a gifted teacher. During this time I worked with children of all ages and family backgrounds.
In 2012 I opened a private preschool academy, which I still run today. With over 25 years of experience in early childhood education, I've had the privilege of working with countless children, parents and educators. I can truly say that this work brings me so much joy.

Mission
Our
I want every parent to feel empowered, informed and supported when selecting child care. From understanding licensing requirements and quality indicators to evaluating health & safety policies, staff qualifications, and parent communication practices, I'm here to guide you step-by-step.
Because at the end of the day, this isn't just about enrolling your child in a program. It's about building trust with a school and staff that you don't know yet - and finding peace of mind that your child is safe, nurtured and absolutely thriving while you can't be there.
Let's Choose Child Care is more than a guide - it's a partner in your parenting journey.
